We Christians are called to live out, in our daily lives, the baptismal priesthood that Christ bequeathed to us鈥攁 priesthood that transforms us into instruments of His grace, enabling us to bring the salvation so lavishly bestowed upon us to all our brothers and sisters. In this way, the Holy Spirit awakens within the Church a call to a spirit of ready self-giving for the sake of others, ensuring that salvation reaches everyone without distinction.
This path of surrender and offering leads us to the Heart of Jesus and makes us participants in universal redemption. We walk this path daily, deeply convinced that God uses everything we experience鈥攁nd offer with love鈥攖o bring salvation to where it is most needed.
The weapons the Sacred Heart places in our hands are trust and humility, allowing the Holy Spirit to use each of us as means and channels of salvation for all our brothers and sisters.
This is a call to live out the mystery of the life of grace received at Baptism, acting as co-redeeming souls in the service of the Church and of all humanity.
